A week of scholarly and expert events entitled Discovering Dalmatia is a key part of this interdisciplinary research project.

Through public lectures, this programme will, we believe, contribute to the popularisation of scholarship, the promotion of debates about the study of culture, and of the culture of research more broadly.

The objective of this continuous programme is to found a new research tradition emerging from this intital temporal framework; that is, that the establishment of the last week of May every year as a scholarly and popular event dedicated to the integration of knowledge about the historical urban landscape of the Adriatic in the distant and near past.
